Privacy Policy

I am a person. You are probably a person too. So I will talk to you as people talk to each other.

The data you provide me is going to be used for the services I provide you.

For example, if you provide me with your mail address, I will probably mail you.

It feels awkward having to say this, but, say you enter your email address in a box that says "subscribe to XYZ", you will probably receive mails related to XYZ.

In fact, I don't know why I have said that. It feels like if I didn't say it, then I was being reckless... But that's ludicrous. See? The web is broken: we have to stop this.

Anyway, my effort is in that you will always be able to unsubscribe or unregister easily.

I try to follow the best practices regarding privacy, data management, and user consent.

As almost any other site on the internet does, I will retrieve your usage stats to improve this site experience. I use GoatCounter, so the data is anonymized.

If you have an adblocker on or use a privacy-focused browser, you may have noted that I do not use third-party cookies. (Yes, your adblocker is working, you just have found one of those rare sites that respects your privacy. If it blocks something, please tell me, I may have made a mistake).

That's why I don't even bother you with cookie consent: I only use my own cookies to keep your session as you navigate the site and to get anonymized usage stats.

I hope this policy does not change, but in case it does, I will update it here and try to warn every user using the best way of communication available.
